# Central Computer

The Central Computer is an optional [Machine](/mechtrauma/items/machines.md). The shipyard must decide whether they want it to be included or not. Its function is to cause other [Machines](/mechtrauma/items/machines.md) to stop functioning whenever the Central Computer is down.&#x20;
